AlphaOak is pleased to announce that Dr. Achim Krüger has joined the firm as a Strategic Product Advisor, strengthening the company’s capabilities at the intersection of enterprise architecture, asset management, and utility transformation.
Krüger brings decades of experience in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), SAP architecture, and large-scale transformation programs across the global utilities sector. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his ability to bridge strategic programs with practical execution -helping organizations modernize complex operational systems while balancing performance, cost, and risk, as required for long-term enterprise success.
“Achim brings a rare combination of architectural depth and industry perspective,” said Martin Stenzig, CEO of AlphaOak. “Utilities are navigating one of the most complex technology shifts in decades, and it requires clear thinking about system design, governance, and long-term enterprise integrity. Achim has spent his career working at that level of discipline.”
Krüger has long been an influential voice in discussions around enterprise architecture, modular system design, and the evolving role of SAP in complex operational environments. His experience spans advisory work, development program leadership, and solution management across asset-intensive industries, with a strong focus on the utilities sector.
At AlphaOak, he will help guide product thinking around the next generation of solutions supporting utility modernization, with a particular focus on ensuring that emerging capabilities – such as advanced analytics, integrated data platforms, and AI-driven decision support – are grounded in sound business requirements.
“Technology is evolving quickly, but the fundamentals of enterprise architecture remain the same,” said Krüger. “Utilities operate some of the most complex operational landscapes in the world.
Modernization requires not just new tools, but discipline in how those systems are designed, integrated, and governed. I’m excited to work with AlphaOak in shaping solutions that respect complexity while enabling meaningful progress.”
Krüger’s appointment reflects AlphaOak’s continued investment in deep technical leadership as the firm expands its work supporting utilities and asset-intensive industries navigating the transition to modern enterprise platforms.
His role will focus on advising AlphaOak’s leadership and delivery teams, contributing to product direction, and engaging with industry stakeholders on the evolving architecture of Enterprise Asset Management and utility systems.
